Marion’s Mayor Steve Little to lead August 5 ribbon-cutting

Celebrating a newly renovated downtown office, expanded mountain-market service, and continued investment in Marion

MARION, N.C. — August 3, 2026 — ERA Live Moore’s Marion office is rebranding as Carolina Mountain Sales, an ERA Live Moore company, and relocating from 32 N. Main Street to a newly renovated office at 301 N. Main St., Marion, NC 28752.

The company will celebrate the rebrand and new location with a community grand opening and ribbon cutting on Wednesday, August 5, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Marion Mayor Steve Little will lead the official ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m.

The transition represents a natural extension of the Carolina Mountain Sales brand, which has helped buyers and sellers navigate Western North Carolina real estate since 2010. Expanding the brand into Marion creates a more unified presence across the mountain region while preserving the local knowledge, relationships and personal service that clients have come to expect from the Marion team.

The newly renovated office at 301 N. Main Street offers dedicated parking, prominent visibility and an accessible location where agents can meet with clients and remain closely connected to Marion’s business community. The relocation reflects continued investment in Marion and McDowell County as the region attracts new residents, businesses and real estate activity.

The Marion office was founded by longtime local real estate professionals Tami Newman and Jacque Mentink and continues to include agents with decades of experience serving buyers and sellers throughout Marion, McDowell County and surrounding communities. The office joined ERA Live Moore in 2022, strengthening the company’s presence across North Carolina’s growing mountain markets. 

The office is now led by Broker-in-Charge Melissa Wright, who has served clients throughout Marion, McDowell County, Burke County, Asheville and the surrounding region. Melissa was appointed to the leadership role earlier this year as part of ERA Live Moore’s continued investment in community-focused leadership.
